  1. Great quote by Hilary Clinton....so true that our children are our greatest gift...they are what will keep the world moving, but we must first teach them that they are a gift and they posse gifts. Same with Herbert Hoover's quote, we must value our children and teach them to value themselves.

  2. I chose the same quote by Sandy Escobido. What a beautiful opportunity we have as educators to help children develop into the best individual they can be. I also agree with Shayla; Hilary Clinton's quote about teaching children that they are a gift and possess gifts is imperative to their retention of their initial love of learning. Each child has gifts and we are responsible for highlighting these gifts. Wonderful quotes!

  4. I especially love the second quote from Dr. Sue Bredekamp. How ispiring! A good teacher has very well-thought-out lesson plans and her teaching is effective rather than simply to fill time. Very nice blog!

  6. I like the quote that you posted, “We as Professionals in the early childhood field have the opportunity to shape a child’s life for the better." That's such a powerful concept that is important for teachers to realize. We have the ability to help each child finds the gifts they've been given and learn to use them everywhere!

  7. The quote about us having the opportunity to shape a child's life is very powerful and true. Early childhood professionals need to pay close attention to this quote and take it for all that it was meant for.
